Hospitals across West Yorkshire and Harrogate continue to treat significant numbers of patients with COVID-19, flu, and other respiratory conditions.

Figures released today (12/01/23) show there are currently 353 inpatients testing positive for COVID-19 across our hospitals, and 152 inpatients testing positive for flu.

While hospitals are still treating significant numbers of patients, this additional demand means we have to prioritise those in the most urgent medical need.  This means the time you may wait at an emergency department for more minor treatment could be impacted and you may have to wait longer than anticipated.
