Airedale NHS Foundation Trust has upgraded its ICE system (the system that the whole trust uses to request pathology and radiology results). The new system brings Airedale up-to-date with the latest version, which will make the system more reliable and easier to maintain.  

This work forms part of a West Yorkshire Association of Acute Trusts (WYAAT) pathology programme to improve requesting and resulting across all hospital trusts. The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust will be the next trust to upgrade, with the remaining WYAAT trusts to follow over the course of the next two years.  

This is a pre-cursor to being able to share pathology results between hospital trusts.
