This tool has been designed to allow West Yorkshire and Harrogate organisations to identify the deprivation decile (Index of Multiple Deprivation 2019) of an address' postcode, and visualise the results.

How to use

Copy or enter a postcodes into the 'Data Sheet - copy postcodes here' tab under column 'A'. Postcodes can be entered with or without a space.

Incomplete postcodes, postcodes outside of West Yorkshire and Harrogate, and a small number of new estate postcodes will be "Not Found".

The remainder should identify the deprivation decile the postcode falls into as calculated by the IMD 2019.
