Nationwide rail strikes are set to disrupt travel across West Yorkshire and Harrogate next week.
Industrial action will cancel 80% of train services across the UK on 21, 23 and 25 June.
Disruption is also expected to carry over into non-strike days during the week, when only about 60% of services are expected to run.
Patients with scheduled hospital appointments are advised to plan their journey to hospital in advance and allow extra time to travel. Road and bus networks are also expected to be exceptionally busy due to the strike.
Patients who are unable to make their appointments due to the industrial action should contact their hospital through the details provided on their appointment letter as soon as possible.
