Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative (YIC) Shared Reporting Administrator 

The Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative (YIC) is introducing the Intelerad shared reporting solution to deliver a region wide reporting solution for additional radiology reporting. A new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to provide a comprehensive administrative service within the Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative Shared Reporting team.

The YIC shared reporting administrator will support the allocation and tracking of regional reporting of diagnostic images to ensure the timely availability for diagnostic imaging reports to enable clinical decision-making when required. They will also assist the YIC Shared Reporting Manager to coordinate all aspects of the image flow in the reporting pathway and support prioritising work across the Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative Member Trusts (initially limited to 6 WYAAT member Trusts). Working closely with consultants, nurses, clerical, and radiology staff, to monitor the patients’ progress on the pathway and check daily to ensure that escalation points are adhered to.

The post holder will require knowledge of a wide range of administrative procedures and key Trust information systems, and have the ability to navigate these to track patients, and applicable medical terminology. They should also have a good awareness of and understanding of issues surrounding diversity and patient involvement

The post holder will be expected to work autonomously, be proactive and deliver work to a high standard within tight deadlines. They should also be flexible in terms of working arrangements, including working from home and multiple WYAAT sites.

The initial base will be Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with potential for the team to be based at one of the other WYAAT member Trusts in the future.
